  • Drum Man Charters based out of St. Augustine offers an exciting day on the water for sightseeing or fishing excursions.

    Captain James Dumas is fully licensed, insured, and ready to show you where the fish are. He is experienced and has been on the water all of his life, having grown up in Florida. He's an expert in light tackle and fly fishing for species such as red fish, trout, flounder as well as tarpon and cobia. Professional fishermen will find a worthy fishing partner in him, and amateur fishers will learn the basics of fishing including how to cast a fishing rod.

    Guests on Drum Man Charters will be casting out from his 2010 Dragonfly Grand Slam 17 boat; with a draft of less than 8 inches you can fish from even very shallow water to the deepest of depths. The vessel is fully stocked and can board three or four guests per charter. In St. Augustine you can catch anything from Redfish, Black Drum, Sea Trout, and Flounder to Sheepshead, Tarpon and many more species.

    The charter rates include your license, fishing rods, bait, and tackle, so all you need to worry about bringing is yourself.     Dragonfly Grandslam

    This boat has a draft of 7" and a top speed of 40 mph. It's great for sight fishing and has a 81" beam making it extremely stable to fish out of. This boat carries 3 passengers along with Captain Dumas.

     

    Dragonfly Marsh Hen

    This boat has a draft of 3" and moves through water quietly making it ideal for sneaking up on fish. Its length is 15' and its beam is 48". The Marsh Hen carries 1 person along with Captain Dumas.

    Captain James was awesome anyone can take you fishing but he took us several spots so we could catch a variety of fish we caught red fish trout blue fish sheephead pinfish and flounder. He was very knowledgable about each species we will be back thanks for a great day Joe and Vickie Fenton Mo
