Blackfly the Restaurant
Blackfly is known as the high-end fly fishing shop in Jacksonville, and now its owners, Vaughn and Jean Cochran, have teamed up with Collage Restaurant owners Mike Hyatt and Cindy Stangby and local friends Doug and Charlene Bunnell to bring this internationally known name to the nation's oldest city, St. Augustine in the form of a seafood and steakhouse restaurant.
Diners at Blackfly will enjoy delicious entrees and a fun, exciting dining atmosphere at this restaurant. Blackfly is known as a "scratch kitchen," which means all of the ingredients used by the chefs are as fresh and local as they can be. Blackfly specializes in amazing seafood entrees like their grilled Scottish salmon piccata, or their capellini with lump blue crab pasta. Also, Blackfly offers great steak entrees and pork loin chops, pizzas, soups and salads.
Blackfly the Restaurant provides two bars, the Angler's Bar in the front of the restaurant and the Shores Bar in the back which is available to be reserved for private parties, weddings, and special events. The beautiful artwork of Vaughn Cochran adorns the Blackfly and these murals and fine art prints transport guests to a tropical and relaxed place.
Blackfly the Restaurant is located on Anastasia Island just over the Bridge of Lions from historic downtown St. Augustine.
