The City of St. Augustine presents its hugely popular and stunning fireworks display in honor of the city's 450th Commemoration. The fireworks will bloom over beautiful Matanzas Bay, beginning around 11:00 p.m., after the final free concert on Saturday, September 5, 2015.
St. Augustine is known for putting on a spectacular fireworks show—especially on July 4th—for the last two decades. This year the city will illuminate the night skies in honor of the 450th anniversary. Visitors will get to witness one of the most memorable fireworks displays in the country after a full day of the Celebrate 450! Music and Street Festival. The fireworks can be viewed from the entire bayfront area.
Where? Historic downtown St. Augustine, Florida. Some of the best vantage points are around the Main Stage, along the bayfront, and from the lawn of the Castillo de San Marcos.
When? Saturday, September 5, 2015, from 11 p.m. to 12 a.m.
