UB40 At St. Augustine Amphitheatre

The St. Augustine Amphitheater presents pop and reggae band UB40 on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

Matt Doyle on vocals and the guitar, accompanied by Jimmy Brown on drums, Robin Campbell on guitar and vocals, Norman Hassan on percussion and vocals, and Earl Falconer on guitar and vocals, collectively form the band UB40. Previous band members include Ali Campbell, Jimmy Lynn, Brian Travers, Mickey Virtue, Duncan Campbell, Astro, and Yomi Babayemi.

With more than seven million listeners on Spotify, UB40 has been spreading positivity since its inception in 1978, infusing its music with themes of beauty and love.

Their musical influence extends beyond albums, with UB40's tracks featured in films such as Silver, A Vampire In Brooklyn, and Speed 2: Cruise Control. Among their accomplishments, UB40 boasts the sale of over 70 million albums worldwide, a Grammy nomination, and collaborations with Lady Saw, Mikidozan, Africa Bambaataa, and Pato Banton.

Admission: Ticket prices range from $44.50 to $69.50. Tickets can be purchased online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, which is open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Parking Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary, and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).

Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes before show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave before the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart the Amphitheatre until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
