Steve Bartlett

Steve Bartlett's relaxed and strong performances are a result of years singing at every opportunity

Throughout careers as a professional chef, house painter, and teacher, Steve Bartlett has always sung, played music, and written songs.

He describes himself as someone who's been singing all of his life. As a youngster, Steve was lead soprano in the Rhode Island Boys Choir.

From there, he moved on to local rock bands and folk groups, and in college he was a charter member of the University of North Florida Heritage Singers.

As Steve says, he doesn't sing any "more Robert Plant highs or Johnny Cash lows these days, but still ain't stopping no matter what."

In addition to a growing list of gigs, Steve performs most Wednesdays at the Wednesday Pier Farmers Market at St. Johns County Ocean Pier.
