Ancient City Slingshots

Ancient City Slingshots offers two fun ways to tour St. Augustine: a low-slung Polaris touring vehicle for two and a family-friendly six-passenger golf cart. Anyone over 21 (with a valid driver's license) who wants to tour St. Augustine the fun way can rent either vehicle for four, eight, or 24 hours. The golf carts can be driven by anyone 18 and older.

Slingshots

These 2021 Polaris Slingshot R models are gas-powered and have a peak torque of 166 foot-pounds at 47 RPM. They are suitable for any paved road, including the narrow streets of St. Augustine, U.S.1, A1A, and I-95. Ancient City Slingshots rents both five-speed stick shift and automatic models. Each Slingshot has a Bluetooth audio system, a seven-inch navigation and vehicle command touch display, a tall windshield, and quilted comfort seats.

Drivers new to these zippy three-wheeled road vehicles may opt to rent one for an hour's worth of instruction and practice before booking a Slingshot for a half day, whole day, or overnight. These open-top vehicles have just a bit of storage -- room for hats, sunscreen, plenty of water, and a compact picnic lunch. They are perfect for driving around town, taking a road trip to Jacksonville, heading along A1A with views of the Atlantic, or along the quieter roads by the St. Johns River.

Golf Carts

With room for six people, the golf carts are an excellent choice for families, groups of friends, or to get your grandparents from wedding to reception. These low-speed electric vehicles can be used on any road with a speed limit of 35 miles per hour or less and can be driven by anyone 18 and older. They are the perfect vehicle for touring St. Augustine's Historic Downtown, Lincolnville, and Uptown regions.

The golf carts have a roof and are equipped with a radio and Bluetooth.
