Abigail & Andre Gruber

Abigail and Andre Gruber have been a dynamic team resurrecting old-time country music, and melding it with a jazz sound for several decades. As Abigail's acclaim has grown in the circle of old-time fiddle competitions, Andre's guitar expertise has kept pace. Formally trained as a violinist and violist, Abigail utilizes her degree in jazz studies to create her unique sound. As a full-time musician, she teaches private lessons and performs in the Jacksonville area. 

Formerly known as Darn Whippoorwills, the duo continues bringing their special sound to Snake Blood Remedy, a Jacksonville band that is growing in popularity among the traditional country and old-time music set.
