Alejandro Rowinsky
A classical guitarist and composer performing all over the U.S.
Alejandro Rowinsky is a Florida-based contemporary musician, classical guitarist, composer, and arranger fusing classical instruments with electronics to create the perfect blend of the past and present. Although Rowinsky currently lives in Florida, he was born in Uruguay and is of Polish descent. For more than 15 years, he has been playing in bands, as a solo artist, at concert venues, festivals, and grand openings throughout the U.S. For his solo acts, Rowinsky performs classical guitar compositions, with a versatile performance repertoire that ranges from the Renaissance to Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras. After an audition in 2016, Rowinsky was cast as a Walt Disney World guitarist for the strolling set in the Castle of Magic Kingdom, as part of the live show "Elena's Royal Welcome." Rowinsky was recently featured in the Tony Award-winning musical Man of La Mancha at the Spanish Lyric Theatre in Tampa, as part of the cast of soloists and orchestra. In St. Augustine, he focuses on classical guitar, incorporating flamenco, rock, Spanish, Latin, and contemporary influences.
