Braden Jamison
Country sound blending '80s and '90s vibes with soulful, heartfelt storytelling.
Neo-traditional country music artist Braden Jamison grew up in a small town just outside Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he was introduced to great music from many genres, including gospel, soul, blues, classic and southern Rock, as well as traditional country. Picking up his first guitar at 11 years old, he immediately began writing songs. He moved to Nashville after graduating from high school in 2020 to pursue a career as a songwriter and country music artist.
He is passionate about songwriting because he insists that a good song connects and engages people with each other, with places, and with life experiences. He declares, “A well-written country song can help people be present and know they are not alone when they are going through real-life events and experiences—like dealing with heartache and pain, celebrating love, and remembering places, people, and experiences that make us who we are.”
Jamison has been featured in numerous podcasts and publications and has been identified as a rising star in country music. He has a sound all his own that is undeniably country. His music has been described as a blend of ’80s and '90s country, with lots of soul, a little blues, and a touch of outlaw. He proudly wears the title, “Your Mom’s Favorite Country Singer.” You can easily identify many of his influences in his voice, lyrics, and melodies, from Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, George Strait, and Keith Whitley, to Chris Stapleton, John Mayer, and the Eagles.
When performing live, Jamison is often backed by his band, ‘The Neon Strangers.’ Together they have performed many shows in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee. He released three new songs in 2023, including “Tulsa,” “Caught Me at A Good Time,” and, “Living with The Lonely.” They have all been very well received by traditional country music fans.
