Recording solo but playing shows with a true country band, Chris McNeil has a sound that romanticizes small-town life, while bringing a full roster of talented players on tour. McNeil's original songs range from pondering the mystique of the woman in his sights to embracing a favorite town as it welcomes him home.
Growing up in central Florida, McNeil knows small towns, and he expanded his world by joining the Navy and going to sea, where he learned his first three chords. McNeil has decided to support a segment of his fellow veterans, known as America's recalibrated veteran families, with music concerts that entertain crowds, raise funds, and expand his joy.
Favored among McNeil's songs are those about relationships; finding his love interest to be "a certified 12 on a scale of one to 10" and, it could only be a smitten man who could feel good as "she laughs at my shoes." After releasing his first single, "Country Line" to massive attention, he found his potential in Nashville, and his future as a singer-songwriter.
