Darren Ronan
A singer and a multi-instrumentalist, this professional musician also owns a music school.
A graduate of the University of North Florida, Darren Ronan has toured as a solo performer and shared the stage with country, rock, and jazz stars, including Dwight Yoakam, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Randy Weston. Locally, he's played percussion with theater ensembles for several musicals.
During this time, he has maintained a career as a music educator and now owns and operates the Ronan School of Music. His expertise includes drums and percussion, bass, ukulele, and guitar.
As a solo act, Ronan most often plays acoustic guitar and sings, sometimes including other local musicians and vocalists for a duo or trio. He's also performed with and written songs for his band, The 77ds. They have released an EP of all original songs called, I Wanna Sing with You. Ronan wrote the song, "Here It Feels the Same," featured in a promotional video for Welcome Jax.
