Emily Landis
Emily's songs are pure country—descriptive, relatable, with melodies that stick.
In 2012, Emily Landis moved to Nashville from St. Louis to attend Belmont University. In 2018, she signed with BMG Nashville, and in 2021, she had her first hit song, "One of the Good Ones," recorded by Gabby Barrett. That song spent three weeks in the number one spot and has been certified platinum four times.
In addition to several accolades and nominations, Landis' "Chasing Tornadoes," recorded by MacKenzie Porter, was the number one song on Canadian country radio in 2023. Cheryl Crow, Dylan Scott, Lauren Alaina, and Lauren Watkins have all recorded songs by Landis, who has been lauded for her ability to convey imagery in her songs.
