James McNair

A hard-working songwriter who pens songs for today's hard-working, hard-playing country musicians.

Having dedicated his life to music shortly after taking up the guitar at the age of 9, James McNair waited until he was 25 before leaving South Carolina for Nashville in 2013. There, he held down two jobs while co-writing songs with friends and his work ethic and lyrical perspective got him noticed. He signed a joint publishing deal with Tree Vibez Music and Sony ATV in 2015 and began connecting with the new generation of country fans.

McNair has secured cuts by artists like Kane Brown (Hometown), Jon Langston, and Pat Cooper while placing two songs with breakout country star Luke Combs. Combs' debut album Here's to You included "Beer Can" and "Out There", written by James McNair. He's also secured cuts by artists like Kane Brown ("Hometown"), Jon Langston, and Pat Cooper. James also penned Craig Campbell's new single, "See You Try."
