Jesse Rice loves the island and pirate life, and it sure comes out in his songs.
Jesse Rice migrated from the Low Country of South Carolina to Nashville and began his publishing career, and then became a staff songwriter and in early 2011, Jesse released "Something Strong", a collection of his own songs.
As a prolific songwriter, Jesse Rice's tunes have been made into hits by major bands such as Florida Georgia Line, Ashley McBryde, Nelly, and Colt Ford.
An award winner for his songwriting, albums and performing, Jesse has been recognized by Billboard, SESAC, CMA, AMA, AMC and Trop Rock Music Awards.
Jesse's personal favorite project right now is his 4th-in-a-series The Pirate Sessions IV, which he initiated in 2012, as a collection of pirate songs and islandy beach music. Jesse says "In my heart I really believe that that's who I am as an artist and where I'm most at home…".
