Jonathan Lee, wearing a light-colored cowboy hat and standing in front of a field

Jonathan Lee

A native Floridian and singer/songwriter who tells stories with his songs.

Originally from Middleberg, Florida, Jonathan grew up in the church where his father, and musical mentor, was the music director. Jonathan took piano lessons from age six to 18 because his dad recognized his talents and wanted his music skills to flourish.

Having discovered country music as a young teen, Johnathan listened to Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, and Eric Church—largely because he enjoyed the stories they told.

In his late teens, Jonathan performed as a singer/songwriter in Middleburg, and the neighboring towns, and formed a band at one point. More recently he has spent time in Nashville, writing songs, meeting fellow songwriters, and honing his craft.

Jonathan calls himself “lyrics guy” and still loves the storytelling side of country music. In addition, he is an accomplished musician with a voice made to sing country songs that tell tales.
