Mark Irwin

Mark Irwin is a very successful songwriter that has co-written hits for artists such as Alan Jackson, Jimmy Buffet, and many other artists.

Mark Irwin co-wrote Alan Jackson's first number one hit "Here in the Real World", two-time CMA Song of the Year nominee and winner of the Music City News' Award for Song of the Year in 1990. Apart from having cuts on Alan Jackson's CD Here in the Real Word, Garth Brooks' The Lost Sessions, and Jimmy Buffett's Take the Weather with You. Mark co-wrote the single "That's How They Do It in Dixie", recorded by Hank Williams Jr, and the No. 1 hits "Redneck Crazy", "Highway Don't Care", and "Neon Light".

Other artists that have had the pleasure of recording his songs are Randy Travis, Martina McBride, George Jones, Faith Hill, Lee Brice, Thomas Rhett, the list is endless. Currently, Mark has songs on Blake Shelton's CD If I'm Honest and the first CD jointly recorded by Tim McGraw and Faith, Hill,The Rest of Our Life.
