Now living in Daytona, Patrick Hagerman started performing as an Irish musician in his teens in Springfield, Illinois. There, his parents enjoyed listening to music and had a large collection of country (his dad) and folk (his mom) artists. Consequently, Hagerman heard a wide range of singer/songwiters from Johnny Cash to John Prine. He listened and learned, and leaned a bit toward Americana and folk; perhaps as a result of attending his first John Prine concert during his teens.

Hagerman has been writing and performing for the past 25 or so years, and has lived in Florida for nearly that long, first in Orlando and now in Daytona. He performs solo and with the Truck Stop Flowers around Florida and parts of the U.S.

In May of 2026, Hagerman released his first studio album, produced at Retrophonics Studios in St. Augustine. The album of original songs showcases his narrative songwriting skills and his ability to paint a musical portrait. While Hagerman certainly has an original style and voice, he is also influenced by his music idols: John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, and Guy Clark.
