Purple Kloud

Rayvon "Purple Kloud" Rollins, from Gainesville, has named his style of music and performances "pyrofuzz," saying that it’s inspired by the "mesmerizing look and feel of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock when he said his guitar was on fire. Pyrofuzz is a feeling, that fire, that spirit to create something with whatever you have and leave it on the stage burning and smoking."

A producer, singer, musician, and songwriter, he founded the independent music label Pyrofuzzpro in Gainesville. His studio music has been described as hip-hop with sonic elements. The multi-talented Purple Kloud works across several genres and musical fields, including as a session musician and engineer. His solo gigs are often simply Rollins on vocals and guitar, singing deeply personal songs that cross genres. He has said that he thinks all styles and genres are beautiful, and he feels that beauty every time he is on stage.
