Redfish Rich

An acoustic and electric rarity, St. Augustine’s Redfish Rich is a deviation from the norm, bringing an unorthodox combination of rock and roll, blues, and good old-fashioned fun to the stage.

St. Augustine’s Redfish Rich is a rare find. An entertainer through and through with a sound that’s sure to enrapture and enchant, Redfish Rich stands alone in musical genre. His ability to fuse together rock and roll, hard rock, and pop rock with sounds of modern and traditional blues guitar is unlike any other. One can hear the influences of both Robert Plant and Stevie Ray Vaughn as Rich moves about the neck of the guitar like he’s writing a verse of poetry. With a college degree in computer sciences, it’s easy to see how Rich is capable of impeccably calculating his next move, note to note. An intuitive player and lover of mathematics, all of the roads Rich decided on brought him to musical perfection.

Originally from south Florida, Rich only just recently came to call St. Augustine home. In the short amount of time he has been a resident he has gained a phenomenal following of blues and rock fans alike. A self-taught musician all of his life, Rich began performing decades ago, honing, shaping, and perfecting the sound he is so well-known for. Rich’s original tune, “Are You Ready,” is a musical gem, reminiscent of both Buddy Guy and Led Zeppelin, turning the tables on rock and roll and blues as it’s known today . Rich’s full band ensemble, Rumble Street, brings a well-defined backbone to Rich’s overall energy and sound.
