Snacks Blues Band has been playing music for over 15 years with a solid reputation for the variety of their original music.
Snacks Blues Band is a three-piece group based in Jacksonville, Florida. Their musical style preserves the deep-rooted blues traditions established by great musicians such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker, and Robert Johnson, and they infuse their sound with the upbeat rhythms of soul, R&B, rock, and funk music.
In 2013, the band released their first album Whiskey Won't Make You Forget and was awarded top honors in the St. Johns River Blues Festival. The Snacks have developed a reputation for their wide variety of original music and stylized cover songs, as well as their high-energy performances. When they're not out playing music, they are working hard writing new songs, rehearsing, and preparing for their next album.
