Southern Tide

Southern Tide plays some of the more obscure rock and roll and country songs, delighting their St. Augustine audiences.

Lead vocalist, Kenny Yarbrough is joined by 4 talented musicians to form the group Southern Tide, a cover band like no other in St. Augustine. These gentlemen of a certain age play songs they can have fun with, and songs that are sure to get the audience singing along and dancing.

They play across genres —from southern-influenced rock, to blues, classic country, and America — and they play mostly lesser-known songs from the last century, from early Hank Williams, Sr. to Jimmy Buffett.

In addition to Kenny on rhythm guitar, Southern Tide has four excellent musicians on lead guitar, bass, drums, and electric slide guitar. The band is tight and the instrumental solos and riffs will definitely get heads nodding and toes tapping — at the very least.
