The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents fan favorite Gaelic Storm at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2022.
A Celtic band formed in Santa Monica, California, Gaelic Storm has delighted audiences with their traditional Irish and Scottish music for more than 20 years.
The band received its first big break in 1997 when it was chosen to contribute to the soundtrack of the film “Titanic” with the festive tune “An Irish Band in Third Class.”
In addition to the classics, Gaelic Storm performs original Celtic and Celtic rock tunes. The concert will include music from their 13 released albums including the latest, “Go Climb a Tree” (2017).
The current lineup includes original band members Patrick Murphy (accordion, spoons, bodhran, harmonica and lead vocals) and Steve Twigger (guitar, bouzouki, mandolin and lead vocals). They are joined by Ryan Lacey (djembe, doumbek, surdo, cajon, ukulele, vocals and percussion), Pete Purvis (bagpipes, uillean pipes and whistle) and Kate Grennan (fiddle, vocals).

Parking Information: Parking will be available onsite. There will be a $5 parking fee for ticketed events and for free events parking will also be free. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.
