Americana and rock ’n’ roll band blends Southern roots with punk edge.
American Souvenir is a Tampa-based Americana and rock ’n’ roll outfit that came together in late 2018. From their earliest shows, they found a home on stages across the Tampa Bay scene, building a reputation for high-energy performances that fuse Southern roots with punk edge.
In 2020, the band teamed up with Luis Cabeza of The Dollyrots to release their debut EP Wild Stallion, followed by a string of singles that showcased their evolving sound. Their latest project, Maybe Just Enough to Get Back Home (June 2025), continues to push their blend of grit and melody forward. As Creative Loafing Tampa put it, "their live shows can even make you rethink what instruments belong in punk rock—church organs included."
