Ancient City Rock

Elizabeth Roth, Joe Fasano, and Oleg Skholar, all well-known musicians from Northeast Florida, formed Ancient City Rock, a classic rock band that specializes in a broad mix of rock and roll songs. 

With Roth and Fasano on vocals and harmonies, the band plays an eclectic mix of rock songs, including music by Led Zeppelin, The Stones, The Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Allman Brothers. 

Elizabeth Roth has been an active performer and music educator in St. Augustine for years. She has won awards from Folio Weekly, fronted TheGrapes of Roth, and performs regularly as a solo act. In Ancient City Rock, Roth plays bass and sings lead and harmony vocals.

Joe Fasano plays lead guitar and also performs as a lead and harmony vocalist in Ancient City Rock. Fasano has performed in other duos and trios in St. Augustine, including with Crawford Boyd's Acoustic Anomaly. 

Oleg Skholar, Ancient City Rock's drummer, also plays drums for the Jacksonville trio, The Drivers.

While each of these established musicians has received accolades for different types of music, this band uses their considerable talents to perform classic rock and roll songs. Ancient City Rock is the Club Band for Tradewinds Lounge, performing there every Tuesday night.
