Brothers Within
“With little to no musical talent and a dream, the boys got to work.” Brothers Within is an upbeat reggae band from Daytona Beach.
The members of Brothers Within found each other just as they were learning to play their instruments, and they discovered they shared a special connection with music, especially reggae. Together they set goals to play at an open mic, then to play their first gig in town. As they kept accomplishing their goals the ball never stopped rolling and they started playing almost every weekend.
Their biggest influences are the bands Rebelution and Stick Figure among others. They came up with the name of their band in the early stages of learning to play music, they knew they wanted to spread a message and evoke positive change in people. The boys have a habit of calling each other "bro" or "brother" so the name came to them quite easily. Off stage they still consider themselves brothers within the universe. Based out of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, Brothers Within play music all around Northeast Florida.
