As a solo act bearing the name Old Fashioned, Dave Schottland plays music that is well beyond old-fashioned. With the sounds of Crash Test Dummies, Neil Young, and Radiohead, he enables listeners to re-live their olden days through his renditions of familiar tunes.
Playing "forgotten hits and b-side essentials," Schottland utilizes guitar looping and faux harmonies with his acoustic guitar instrumentals. Singing along with his guitar playing, he throws in some lap steel now and again, to the delight of listeners.
