Frog, aka Dick Bozung, took a winding path to living a music-focused life in St. Augustine. A sailor, naturalist, and environmentalist, Frog teaches music to area youth and particularly enjoys showing young children how easy it is to make music. He is an educator, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, proficient on several string instruments, the piano, recorder, and flute.

His message is the same for all ages: It should be much easier for children and adults to play music together. Frog developed the Guitar Barre method for string instruments that lets beginning musicians focus on rhythm and strumming while creating simple bar chords. And he invented what he calls the "Earidescent Nightingale Auto Harp," a simple stringed instrument with an easy way to play different keys.

Frog has also worked with others to create melodic instruments that all play in the key of C, allowing youth and adults to gather and create natural music. Frog is committed to our natural world and to living in harmony with nature. He teaches children to play music for our natural surroundings and hosts events, including inviting all musicians and music-lovers to celebrate Earth Day by playing music together in a wooded park.

Frog is frequently booked at venues and events that include activities specifically for children, and generously brings his Key of C instruments, xylophones, drums, Nightingale Auto Harp, and other instruments so that kids (and adults) can create music together.
