Hudson Vance

Everybody talks about Hudson Vance's amazing guitar licks, and listening to him play, you wouldn't think he was only 15 years old. Vance is St. Augustine’s very own up-and-comer, pursuing his lifelong love for music without letting age set him back. At the ambitious age of 10, Vance began his experience as a live performer. He started his music career by busking outside the St. Augustine Amphitheater for the crowds attending concerts and events. While he wasn’t what that crowd had paid to see, he was giving them a show they wouldn’t forget. Soon, he would be performing for multiple venues in St. Augustine and Jacksonville every weekend. 

He frequently plays at Mellow Mushroom, V’s Pizza, River and Fort, Mulligan’s, and more. While these guests enjoy their dinner, they get to admire a thoughtfully put-together set of alt-country, 90s rock, and classic country music played by Vance, featuring his acoustic guitar. Along with his ambitious music career, he is also a student at Tocoi High School. To quote his guitar teacher, "I had an awesome kid in my guitar class. He was already playing absolutely killer covers of a bunch of different tunes…A few years later and he’s one of the most killer guys on the scene!"
