Hulagans
Paying homage to the sounds that shaped them.
The blues and reggae band, Hulagans, exemplifies every part of the coastal Southeast culture through their music, and in their daily lives as well. With frontman Cody McGuire at the helm, the Hulagans reflect the sounds familiar to their youth, incorporating the beach reggae vibe and southern blues rock.
Embracing their Labor Day tradition referred to as "Pontoons," the Hulagans load up their gear in a boat, and set out for Fort George Inlet, to let the party begin. As an aside, two members of the band are related to Allen Collins, guitarist extraordinaire of Lynyrd Skynyrd, James Collins and his cousin, Will Gerard, lending the nitty gritty tone, which they wholeheartedly embrace.
