A cover band with it's own groove.
St. Augustine's Jivewire, a self-described "funkalicious and rock-ifying" cover band, always gets people moving to their groove. They play covers from Hall & Oats to Maroon 5.
Band members are Alexander Miller on lead guitar and vocals, Julien Dourneaux on guitar and vocals, Lane Whalin on bass guitar, and Andy Robillard on drums and vocals.
Miller studied music in St. Augustine schools and went on to University of North Florida's music program. He's played with a number of local bands and teaches music. Originally from Orlando, Dourneaux is an accomplished singer-songwriter with international experience. Whalin is a self-taught bassist who has performed with members of some of the best-known bands in Jacksonville. Robillard has been drumming since he was nine and has toured and performed with a number of national and international acts.
The four of them bring their experience with rock, blues, country, and pop to create a performance that can move hot and fast or slow and sensual.
