Kilo
Performing solo, in jams, and sitting in with several groups.
Kilo, a transplanted New England native, known by his friends as Kevin Buonagurio, has formed strong friendships with musicians and music lovers in St. Augustine. Like several musicians now performing in Northeast Florida, Kilo brought the music with him when he came to St. Augustine. He's performed for years as a solo act, in duos and bands, and would seek out jams to join when he didn't have a gig.
Once he settled in St. Augustine, Kilo started bringing his guitar to jam with the Free Rangers at the Amphitheatre Farmers Market, and then began to stand up at the microphone at the open mics in town. Kilo can sing lead and make a familiar song his own, and then easily move into singing harmony to back up other performers. When jamming, he's adept at folk, Americana, rock, blues, and country, and he's been welcomed to join the stage with some of the area's best musicians.
Now, Kilo is taking gigs to perform at venues in town, singing a mix of folk, Americana, bluegrass, blues, and rock and roll. Frankly, while Kilo has many other skills and talents, he's happiest when playing guitar and singing songs from his extensive repertoire.
