Formed in 2015, with no expectations, the Luke Langford Band has grown significantly in size and fan-base in just five years. What started as a way for a few guys to get together to play music a couple of times a month, grew into a band of five accomplished country musicians, playing over two shows a week.

A Florida band from the Panhandle, they quickly became an area favorite with visitors and locals in northwest Florida. They are now a Texas Five-style band with Luke Langford on guitar and vocals, Matt Miller on fiddle and vocals, Jon Webb on lead guitar and vocals, Alston Weeks on drums and vocals, and JD Allgood on bass guitar.

This hard-driving, honky-tonk country band plays both originals and covers from classic country, modern country, and that curious blend of Texas Sound with Oklahoma Red Dirt Music — Texas Red Dirt.

The Luke Langford Band's current top original song, "Like a Farmer Loves the Rain," is a plaintive, Cajun-influenced, country ballad about a woman who reminded Luke of the rains his farmer father both needed and feared — "always too much or never enough."
