Monroeville Band

An alliance of established musicians, Monroeville was formed in 2010, and has continued to gain acclaim as the years roll by. Anchored by Grammy-nominated Matt Munsey and his wife, Brittany, the group is always in demand at shows throughout the East Tennessee/ North Carolina area.

Forming a new band requires careful consideration of what to call yourself. A long bus trip, an atlas of place names, and a shared love of bluegrass led them to the homage to Bill Monroe, the father of bluegrass music, and the name Monroeville was born. Touring throughout the East coast, and west to Colorado, the Monroeville sound merges authentic vocals, banjos, drums, and mandolin, to rave crowds.
