Salt Driven Ride is a four-piece band that puts their personal touches on well-known cover songs to create a rare conglomeration of exploration exclusive to them.  Blending classic rock, folk, contemporary country, alternative rock, rock and roll, and blues, St. Augustine, Florida's Salt Driven Ride holds dear their musical influences and also carries their hearts on their sleeves.  Their on-stage demeanor is potent and powerful, and the quartet is consistently establishing inventive ways to rework and remake the crowd-pleasing cover tunes that audiences know and love.  They also sprinkle in unexpected choices of song ,such as The Raconteurs and Billy Currington.  The band's influences range from Tom Petty and Bob Dylan to Wilco and Mudcrutch.

Led by lead vocalist and percussionist Teresa Benton, also of the band The Saltones, this four-piece ensemble is not only diverse in song choice, but highly adaptable to switching around vocal roles.  Acoustic guitarists Jimbo Manning also takes on the task of lead vocals, depending on the song. Both he and Teresa unexpectedly alternate between melody and harmony, constructing a beautiful balance with their vocal differences and technical nuances. ,These two distinct singers are joined by Rob Autrey on the electric bass ,who also adds to the band's back-up vocals, creating a subtle but divine three-part harmony that rounds out the ensemble's vibrant sound.  Salt Driven Ride has been a featured performer at St. Augustine's Rhythm & Ribs Festival alongside famed bands Badfish and Sister Hazel.
