Taildraggers Ultralite

The Taildraggers Ultralite features four local musicians who exude a lightness of being when they perform as a smaller version of the original band, The North Florida Taildraggers.

Two members of the Ultralite band are renowned local multi-instrumentalists: Trey Brewer is particularly adept on guitar and mandolin, and Michael Lagassee has wowed audiences playing the guitar and fiddle and has offered the stand-up bass when needed. That's not needed with the Taildraggers Ultrilite, because Jan Brewer, a scientist/musician, plays the bass in this band. 

The band's most frequent banjo player is Paige Bechtold, a young woman who books her band gigs around classes.

These four perform regularly at several area venues, and at local festivals and events, playing original music and standards, with frequent, toe-tapping instrumental solos.

Ted Brewer frequently performs as a solo act and with his larger band, The North Florida Taildraggers.
