With two locations, North Guana Outpost assists outdoor enthusiasts on the beaches of the Atlantic and the waters of the Guana Preserve. Founded in 2014, this local, family business shares a love of adventure, exploration, and the great outdoors. The owners have formed a growing community of clients and friends who share their passions and serve that community by offering classes, rentals, and products that increase your enjoyment of the outdoors.

Locations

North Guana's headquarters, at 4415 Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra Beach, is just a tenth of a mile to the Atlantic Ocean, and about a mile to the Intracoastal Waterway. The location is a retail shop selling bait and tackle, sunglasses, beach gear, sandals, clothing, and stand-up paddleboards. You can also rent kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, surfboards, body boards, and beach umbrellas at the Mickler Road location. Add to your fun and rent a fishing package with a kayak or paddleboard. This location also has a kayak launch, where you can launch your own kayak during business hours for a small fee. The North Guana Outpost is open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Guana Outpost South, their second location, is just inside the main entrance to the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTMNERR). There, you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, and bicycles, and purchase bait and tackle and a few essentials for a day outdoors. This location is open when the weather is good, seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wondering about the weather? Call them at (904) 217-7388. There is a $3.00 parking fee at Guana, you can pay with cash or via a QR code.

A Wednesday special runs every week with 1/2 off the regular rate for half and full-day rentals.

Tours and Lessons

In addition to a yearly surf camp for kids, they offer surf, stand-up paddle board, and kayak fishing lessons as well as several kayak tours. You can opt for a kayak eco-tour during the day and for sunset and a bioluminescent kayak tour after-dark.
