North Guana Outpost
This family-owned company helps outdoor enthusiasts experience the Atlantic beaches and the Guana Preserve waters. Founded in 2014, the owners have formed a growing community of clients and friends who share their love of adventure, exploration, and the great outdoors. They offer classes, rentals, products, and guided tours to expand your knowledge of the area's natural wonders and to increase your enjoyment on the water.
The shop is located near three different bodies of water: the Atlantic Ocean, the Guana Preserve estuary, and the Intracoastal Waterway. You can opt for the right adventure for you—from one full of excitement in the surf, to a calm paddle in a protected lake.

Rentals, Tours, and Lessons
North Guana offers surf, stand-up paddleboard, and kayak fishing lessons as well as several kayak tours. Choose a kayak eco-tour during the day, or a sunset and bioluminescent kayak tour in the evening. North Guana Outpost rents single and tandem kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, fishing kayaks and gear, bodyboards, and surfboards.
Book one of several kayak tours, fishing lessons from a kayak or paddleboard, surf lessons, stand-up paddleboard lessons, or surf camp for your child during the summer. They also rent and sell gear and necessities for a great day on the water.
There is so much to see and do within North Guana Outpost's service area that you could opt for several different adventures with them during the week or the season, learning and enjoying more of the waterways, sealife, birds, and other wildlife.

Kayak Tours
North Guana Outpost offers several kayak tours, most focusing on the local ecosystems.
Kayak Eco Tours
Guided by a naturalist, the Kayak Each Tour explores the beauty of Guana Preserve on this three-hour tour during the day. Watch for eagles, ospreys, great blue herons, otters, jumping fish, and turtles. As you paddle the calm waters of the estuary, the naturalist explains this rare and vitally important ecosystem, and the birds, reptiles, mammals, and crustaceans that live there.
Guana Sunset Kayak Tour
On the Sunset Kayak Tour, a two-hour paddle during the golden hour led by an experienced guide, see wildlife such as wading birds, marsh creatures, and perhaps a dolphin (if you are kayaking on the river side). The trip starts just before the setting sun paints the sky and the water with golden and orange hues.
Sunset Bioluminescence Kayak Tour
This two-and-a-half-hour tour begins near sunset, when you embark on a guided, magical, and educational adventure. During the Sunset Bioluminescence Kayak Tour, enjoy the beauty of the sunset and the diversity of the ecosystem. Then, after the sun has set, bioluminescent organisms light up the waters as you stir your paddle. The experienced guide shares information on these special creatures so you understand the science behind the show.
