10,000 Maniacs at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes 10,000 Maniacs on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.

Active since 1981 and formed in New York, 10,000 Maniacs features Mary Ramsey (vocals, viola), Steven Gustafson (bass, guitar), Dennis Drew (keyboard), John Lombardo (guitar), and Jerome Augustyniak (drums). Hailed as one of the most enduring bands from the early alternative rock movement, they are known for hits like “Because The Night,” “These Are Days,” “Trouble Me,” and “More Than This.”

The band first performed on September 7, 1981, and released their debut album Human Conflict Number Five in March 1982. Their breakthrough came with In My Tribe, which reached #37 on the Billboard charts. 

Today, 10,000 Maniacs attracts more than 900,000 listeners across Spotify and other streaming platforms. Their discography also includes Secrets of the I Ching, The Wishing Chair, Blind Man's Zoo, Our Time In Eden, Love Among the Ruins, The Earth Pressed Flat, Music from the Motion Picture, and their latest release, Twice Told Tales.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
