Ansley Randall: Home for Now

The Lightner Museum presents the work of Ansley Randall in her exhibition, Ansley Randall: Home for Now, beginning Friday, September 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at an opening event during St. Augustine's First Friday Art Walk. The exhibit continues through the end of the year.

The Exhibit

Born in Jacksonville and a graduate of Flagler College, Randall creates murals and art projects for shared spaces, and paintings, collages, and textiles for homes and offices. She has completed murals in Jacksonville and as far from home as Berlin, Germany. Randall's fine art, murals, and installations use vibrant colors and diverse shapes to create a uniform design for each location. Her location work includes parks, public spaces, and community structures. Her commercial murals define spaces in stores, hotels, and corporate offices. 

This exhibit focuses on the variety of her practice, the ways her art has evolved, and how her art has changed the way the spaces are viewed.

First Friday Exhibit Opening

On First Friday, September 4, 2026, the Lightner Museum invites the public to enter through the Radzinski Garden at the rear of the museum for a special First Friday exhibit opening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The opening event is free. 

The Exhibit

This exhibit will be on view for several months, beginning Saturday, September 6, 2026.

Visiting the Museum

Admission: $20.00 for adults; $17.00 for college students, seniors, and military; $13.00 for youth aged 12-17; free for children 11 and younger.

When: Monday through Sunday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Where: The Lightner Museum is located at 75 King St. in historic downtown St. Augustine.

The Museum is generally open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week. They are closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
