The Outer Banks Boil Company and Sand Strokes host the First Coast Putt and Boil, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m., at the east section of Frank B. Butler Park.

Compete in the 9-hole putt-putt tournament on the beach and dine on a seafood boil of jumbo shrimp, andouille sausage, potatoes, corn on the cobb, and sweet onions. Don't want to try your hand at sand golf? Come to watch the competition and stay for the boil. Proceeds from the event go to two local organizations working to protect our beaches and waterways: the First Coast Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and the Matanzas Riverkeeper.

Registration starts at 3:00 and the tournament begins at 4:00 with teams of two competing in a 9-hole golf game. From Gainesville, Sand Strokes Games provide a fun and beach-friendly family activity for beachgoers of any age. Sand Strokes supports the Surfrider Foundation with every sale.

The St. Augustine location of the Outer Banks Boil Company brings beach boils to parks, beaches, homes, and organizations. The boil company is a committed supporter of the Matanzas Riverkeeper.

The putt-putt tournament is open to all teams of two, such as friends, spouses, parent and child, business associates, and neighbors. Invite a "rival" team to join you for the afternoon for fun, competition, and a seafood boil.

Admission: $30.00 per person for the boil, $100.00 for a team of two, includes the boil for both teammates. Proceeds will be divided between the Matanzas Riverkeeper and the First Coast Surfrider Foundation. Purchase tickets in advance, here.

When: Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. The registration begins at 3:00 p.m., and the competition starts at 4:00 p.m.

Where: The park at Frank B. Butler Beach Park (East), 5860 A1A South, St. Augustine 32080.
