John Prine Memorial Jam

Musician Kevin Edwards hosts a John Prine night on Mr. Prine's birthday, October 10, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Marina Munch.

Whether the musicians are playing guitar, bass, singing lead, or harmony, the music will be the songs John Prine wrote and shared with the world before his died in 2020.

You know them: "Angel from Montgomery," "Unwed Fathers," Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaiian," "In Spite of Ourselves," "When I Get To Heaven." That's just a few of the sad, funny, poignant, and insightful songs John Prine gave to us. 

Kevin Edwards and an unnamed cast of musicians will sing their favorite Prine songs on Friday. There will be solos, harmony, and at least one rousing jam—because that's how they roll. 

Marina Munch has several food trucks and a cantina that sells beer and wine. Most tables have umbrellas at this outdoor, on the water venue on the San Sebastian River.
