The St. Johns County Parks Department is partnering with Ancient City Astronomy Club to host an educational event, A Night Under the Stars, on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Equestrian Center.
Ancient City Astronomy Club leads this Astronomy 101 class, introducing participants to the wealth of knowledge and mystery of the night sky. The program covers the mythology of the constellations and new scientific discoveries in astronomy.
Telescopes and binoculars will be provided for viewing the moon, planets, and other objects. The program is free, but space is limited.
