Active since 1978, Public Image Ltd. built a legacy on tracks like “The Order of Death,” “Rise,” “Public Image,” “This Is Not a Love Song,” “Seattle,” and “Disappointed,” blending post-punk, experimental rock, and new wave with avant-funk and post-rock influences. The band, featuring Scott Firth, John Lydon, Lu Edmonds, and Mark Roberts, was founded by Lydon during his time with the Sex Pistols and even appeared on American Bandstand in 1980.
Today, they continue to evolve their sound, drawing over 541,000 listeners across Spotify and other streaming platforms while leaving a mark across multiple musical eras.
