Active since 2011, Robert Jon and the Wreck are a California-born quintet made up of Jake Abernathie (keyboards), Henry James (lead guitar, vocals), Warren Murrel (guitar), Andrew Espantman (drums, backing vocals), and Robert Jon Burrison (lead vocals, guitar). Known for their electrifying blend of blues rock and Southern rock, the band consistently brings down the house with their soulful performances.
With over 80,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a strong presence across other streaming platforms, Robert Jon and the Wreck have earned critical and fan acclaim for standout tracks such as “Heartbreak & Last Goodbye,” “Oh Miss Carolina,” “Boss Man,” “Dark Angel,” and “Old Man.”
After forming in California, the group hit the road early, playing more than 60 shows nationwide, and were soon honored as Best Live Band at the 2013 Orange County Music Awards. Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
