The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series Alumni Samara Joy on Sunday, January 31, 2027, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Active since 2019, Samara Joy has quickly emerged as one of jazz’s brightest rising stars, blending the sophisticated elegance of jazz with the soulful grooves of R&B, the emotional depth of soul, and the uplifting spirit of gospel. She is celebrated for her captivating interpretations of timeless classics and fan favorites, including “Everything Happens to Me,” “You Stepped Out of a Dream,” “Stardust,” “Misty,” “Guess Who I Saw Today,” and “I’m Confessin’ (That I Love You),” delivering each song with remarkable vocal control, warmth, and modern sensitivity.

Her career took flight after winning the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, a breakthrough that propelled her into the national spotlight. Since then, she has amassed millions of views and followers on TikTok, surpassed 385,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and other streaming platforms, and performed at iconic venues and festivals including the Newport Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, and Lincoln Center’s Jazz Festival, establishing herself as a powerful new voice in contemporary jazz.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. You can also purchase tickets for shows at both venues at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office on Anastasia Island, 1340 A1A South in St. Augustine, Florida 32080.
