(904) 209-0367The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall welcomes Stage to Screen: The Last Waltz on Friday and Saturday, August 14 and 15, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. on both days.
A lavish and searing farewell to The Band, The Last Waltz freezes a curtain call on their celebrated career. It is an evening saturated with raw feeling, unresolved tensions, and candid exchanges rarely seen by the public.
Directed by Martin Scorsese, the film goes beyond mere concert footage, blending powerful performances with revealing interviews and behind-the-scenes glimpses that convey the group’s emotional landscape, touring realities, and creative struggles. Augmenting the spectacle are guest appearances from legendary artists including Muddy Waters, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, and others, each adding distinctive textures and unforgettable musical artistry to the night.
More than a stage event, this documentary is an immersive exploration of American roots music, weaving together folk, rock, and blues into a rich tapestry that illuminates the traditions, influences, and legacy of a band that helped define a generation.
