Tommy Emmanuel at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents "Certified Guitar Player" Tommy Emmanuel on Thursday, December 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Active since 1962, Australian-born artist Tommy Emmanuel is celebrated for iconic tracks including “Doc’s Guitar,” “Angelina,” “Lewis & Clark,” “Somebody That I Used To Know,” “Song for a Rainy Morning,” “Deep River Blues,” “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” “And So It Goes,” and “Sail On.” With more than 271,000 listeners and followers across Spotify and other streaming platforms, he is renowned for blending elements of jazz, pop, rock, and country into his music.

Emmanuel describes his signature approach as “fingerstyle” guitar, using all 10 fingers to create a rich, layered sound that resembles an entire band. At age 44, he became one of only five musicians ever awarded the title of Certified Guitar Player by his idol, Chet Atkins. His many honors include an APRA Award, two ARIA Awards, four Country Music Awards of Australia, a Grammy Award, and two Mo Awards. He was also inducted into the Australian Country Music Roll of Renown.

Local Box Office: As of August 1, 2025, the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box office is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., seven days a week, and they sell tickets to performances at PVCH and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
