Adam Wood is a Nashville-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose roots run deep in the legendary Muscle Shoals music scene. With a talent for crafting authentic, heartfelt lyrics and melodies, Wood has contributed to many musical careers—both emerging stars and seasoned veterans.

Signed to a co-venture with acclaimed country artist Lee Brice, Wood’s songwriting seamlessly blends raw, real-life storytelling with commercial appeal. His collaborations with Brice include hit tracks like “More Beer,” the title track “Hey World,” and the lively “If You,” featured on Brice’s 2020 album. Beyond that, Wood’s songs have been recorded by notable artists such as Trace Adkins, Lonestar, Mo Pitney, William Michael Morgan, Derek Austin, Delta Rae, and Smithfield, among others.

From a young age, Wood’s musical journey was fueled by a diverse background, starting with violin lessons through the Suzuki Method, then moving to piano, and finally discovering his love for guitar, which he learned by ear. A college scholarship for trumpet and aspirations of becoming a music minister set the stage for his Nashville move at age 22, where he quickly immersed himself in the songwriting and production world.

His career has been marked by dedication and a relentless pursuit of his craft, including an internship with Walt Aldridge, work in publishing, and ultimately earning recognition for his ability to connect emotionally through music. Wood’s perseverance has paid off as he has co-written chart-topping songs and developed a reputation for thoughtful, compelling storytelling.

Whether on a tour bus writing sessions or behind the scenes in the studio, Wood’s approach is to fit the pieces of a song together like a puzzle, making each one resonate with authenticity and heart. His work reflects personal experiences and an unwavering passion for music that continues to elevate Nashville’s songwriting scene.
