What do you get when four local, talented, and well-known instrumentalists, singers, and songwriters decide they need more fun with music? Cosmoshead, a band that loves songs.

Michale Lagasse, one of the area's most proficient guitarists, founded the Wild Shiners, has performed with other local legends, and is a must-see performer at Florida's music festivals. T'ai Welch, drummer, singer, and songwriter, is best known in St. Augustine as the drummer in the Wild Shiners. Chris Clark, bassist, singer, and songwriter, plays upright bass with the Thick and Thin String Band, adding his vocal harmony and taking the lead for a few numbers. In Cosmoshead, Chris plays electric bass. The fourth member, Kevin "Kilo" Buonagurio, is a relative newcomer to the St. Augustine music scene. His vocal and guitar skills and easy manner have made him a favorite at local jams and venues.

It should be evident that all four share an unusual sense of humor, in addition to their desire to develop something new. They describe the band as "A cosmic, interstellar, hippie, groove jam band." They have developed original songs and have reimagined cover songs to fit their self-described "rock and roll space hippie vibe." In the world of Cosmoshead, "No song is ever complete."

Cosmoshead is an interstellar trip with a great soundtrack.
