Dawson Hollow
Five Ozark-born siblings, fearless harmonies, hope in every note.
Dawson Hollow is a five-sibling indie-folk-rock band rooted deep in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. Formed officially in 2016, the group—Aaron, Ben, Rachel, Kyle, and John Link—had already spent more than a decade touring, writing, and refining their sound together. Raised in a household shaped by six generations of musicians, and taught to sing and play piano by their mother, the siblings developed a rare musical intuition that can only come from family. Their near-telepathic five-part “blood harmonies” have become the band’s defining signature.
For the first fifteen years of playing together, the Links immersed themselves exclusively in bluegrass and folk traditions. Those early influences still echo through their music today in nostalgic string textures and rich acoustic layers. Yet Dawson Hollow stretches beyond tradition, fusing Americana roots with cinematic pop melodies and the driving energy of indie rock. The result is a sound that feels both timeless and immediate—songs that ask life’s bigger questions while keeping hope firmly in view.
Their live show is where the band truly shines. With more than 3,000 performances collectively under their belt, Dawson Hollow crafts setlists that balance intimacy and exuberance, inviting audiences to grow alongside them. Whether in a packed venue or a daytime campus concert, their performances are known for leaving listeners energized and understood.
