The Fellas

The Fellas have garnered a strong following in Jacksonville, where the group met while studying music at the University of North Florida. First, they played for campus events, then they started performing at local college hangouts, and now they have expanded their performances to places farther from the university, including in Georgia and around Florida.

It's no wonder that Folio Weekly labeled them as the "Best Jazz Band in Jax." As students, the five musicians have studied with some of the best jazz musicians and educators in the South.

The Fellas is comprised of Brandon Richards on saxophone, Avery Herom on guitar, Jake Dunajewski on keyboard, Corbin Schmid on bass, and Koryn Walsh on drums. The band performs covers of classics and original songs. This instrumental band has often featured guest vocalists who appreciate their beat, musicianship, and collaborative performances.
